Here are pictures from the various opportunities I had to visit the Meeting
of the Waters (meeting of rivers Negro and Solimões. It's a
very nice place to visit, specially if you take a boat and go to the region
more at west where you can find trails in the forest, Indian communities and
Vitórias Régias (those big green "plateaus" you see in the pictures
below). Having lunch at one of the available floating restaurants is
strongly recommended.
