During my 2005 vacation I went to the city of Rio Grande - RS to visit my girlfriend (who happens to be my wife now). It's a relatively small city, at the extreme south of Brazil.

I was without a car, but I had the opportunity to visit the Cassino Beach (even though it was during the winter, several museums, the small city of São José do Norte and other places. I'll probably return to there at some point in the future, since it appears to be a common destiny during family trips from now on... :-)
